Now, let’s examine the game’s highlights:
RR is first put under pressure by DC bowlers
After choosing to bowl first, the Delhi Capitals spinners prevented the Rajasthan openers from finding easy boundaries, which helped their team get off to a strong start. Mukesh Kumar bowled out Yashasvi Jaiswal (5 off 7) to start the match, and Khaleel Ahmed forced RR captain Sanju Samson (15 off 14) to edge one to the wicketkeeper. By catching Jos Buttler (11 off 16) in front of the wickets, Kuldeep Yadav added more misery to the RR team, leaving them on 36/3 after 7.2 overs.

2. Riyan Parag salvages the innings for Rajasthan Royals
During the powerplay, the 22-year-old batted after skipper Samson was out of the game in the final over. After hitting Kuldeep Yadav for a six, Parag moved on after initially batting carefully and only scoring 15 runs off of the first 19 balls. With seven fours and six sixes to help RR secure a commanding lead, the right-handed hitter steadily gained momentum in his innings and recorded his best-ever IPL total of 84* (45).

3. Nandre Burger upends the hierarchy in Delhi Capitals
In his maiden IPL season, the left-arm seamer looked amazing with the ball. The DC openers had gotten their team off to a fast start, amassing 30 runs for the first wicket before Burger dragged RR back into the contest. After destroying Mitchell Marsh’s stumps in the fourth over of the innings, he bounced out Ricky Bhui three balls later, leaving DC reeling at 30/2 after 3.4 overs.
