Sanju Samson won the toss, just as in the previous game, and he once again chose to bowl first. Trent Boult dismissed Abhishek Sharma, Aiden Markram, and Rahul Tripathi with three consecutive strikes in the powerplay overs. The spinners for the Rajasthan Royals kept Hyderabad under pressure by taking key wickets.
But Heinrich Klaasen was a one-man show, hitting four sixes en route to 50 runs off only 34 balls. After 20 overs, the SRH could manage only 175 runs, with Avesh Khan and Boult taking three wickets apiece and Sandeep Sharma taking two.
Powerplay: Time-out at 51/1 after 6 overs, after overs 0.1 to 6.
Jaiswal had little trouble taking on the SRH bowlers, while the Englishman was having trouble scoring runs. Before the powerplay, in the last over, the young batter faced Bhuvneshwar Kumar, hitting him for 19 runs in a single over.
Rajasthan Royals: fifty runs in five overs
While Tom Kohler-Cadmore was having trouble in the early portion of the powerplay, Yashasvi Jaiswal pursued the bowlers. When Tripathi caught the English batter for ten, Pat Cummins’ suffering came to an end.

The spin of the Hyderabad spinners eventually claimed the lives of the remaining Royals hitters after Yashasvi Jaiswal went down. SRH advanced to the final thanks to a five-wicket partnership between Abhishek Sharma and Shahbaz Ahmed.
