Regarding the encounter between LSG and CSK at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium, the visitors lost the toss and were assigned to bat first. After a sluggish start to the match, CSK consistently lost wickets. Following in the footsteps of MS Dhoni’s incredible 28 off 9 and Ravindra Jadeja’s 57* off 40, CSK amassed 176 runs.
But LSG captain KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock’s opening exchange was sufficient to win them the match. With six balls remaining, LSG won the match by eight wickets, thanks to strikes from Rahul (82 off 53) and De Kock (54 off 43). Player of the Match went to KL Rahul, who justifiably did so as he immediately turned the tide of the battle in his team’s favour. While giving up at 5.33, Krunal Pandya grabbed two wickets for LSG. Mohsin Khan, Yash Thakur, Ravi Bishnoi, and Marcus Stoinins all achieved one each.
