On Thursday, April 4, at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated the Gujarat Titans (GT) by three wickets to record their second victory of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). Gujarat was made to bat first and in their allotted 20 overs, they amassed a mammoth score of 199/4, with captain Shubman Gill top-scoring with an outstanding 89.

2. Rahul Tewatia’s brief appearance pushes GT’s rating above 190.
In the eighteenth over of the innings, the southpaw came to bat and promptly ended the innings on a high note, as is his typical style. 3. Punjab wins thanks to Shashank Singh’s game-winning 61.
After 8.4 overs, the 32-year-old came in to bat with his team behind 70/4. He produced a brilliant knock to stay in the game. In just 25 balls, Shashank reached his first-ever IPL fifty. He stayed to see his team through to the penultimate ball of the game. With the aid of six fours and four sixes, the right-handed batter amassed an undefeated 61 (29) runs.
