In Tuesday, May 14, the Delhi Capitals defeated the Lucknow Super Giants by 19 runs in their final league stage game of the IPL 2024 at Arun Jaitley Stadium thanks to an outstanding all-around performance.
The hosts reached 208/4 in their 20 overs thanks to strikes from Abishek Porel (58 off 33 balls) and Tristan Stubbs (57 off 25 balls). After that, Ishant Sharma took three wickets for 34 runs to assist the home team in limiting the Lucknow Super Giants to 189/9, winning by 19 runs. Amre also praised Ishant’s crucial role with the ball in winning the game. “Getting three wickets in the powerplay speaks volumes,” the man stated.
