Internet users criticize Pakistan and Abdul Razzaq for making a scandalous allusion to Aishwarya Rai, calling it a “new low every day.”

Abdul Razzaq has joined the chorus of former cricket players who have criticized the national squad since they were eliminated from the ODI World Cup. former cricket players have said that Babar Azam should resign as team captain after Pakistan once again failed to advance to the ODI World Cup semi-finals. The supporters are furious.

Pakistan’s World Cup performance, however, was lacking, both in terms of batting and bowling. Both Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi were expected to perform well in the main tournament; however, they were both unable to live up to the hype.

Babar Azam was also unable to raise his game and he made some dubious decisions. Numerous sources state that the 29-year-old would be relieved of his captaincy for Pakistan in the next few days due to suspicions that he supported his favorite players.

However, former cricketer Ramiz Raja supported Babar Azam and said Pakistan’s bowlers had failed to live up to expectations in the competition. He recently criticized the PCB officials as well, questioning their goals and the policies that underpin the operation of the institution.

However, Kapil Dev, the 1983 World Cup victor, has also supported Babar Azam and urged the Pakistan Cricket Board to take a reasonable decision moving forward. In the meantime, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi are still the top picks to succeed Babar.
