Barbados’ stunning blue waters and powder-soft white sand beaches provided the Indian cricket team with a much-needed respite as the ICC T20 World Cup enters the pivotal Super Eight round.
The players were shown having fun and enjoying the Caribbean sun while playing beach volleyball in a video released by the BCCI. This was following their undefeated performance in the group stage.
Virat Kohli, Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Arshdeep Singh were seen in the video diving, sprinting, and laughing throughout the match.
Yuzvendra Chahal and fielding coach T Dilip were also observed taking part in the enjoyment. “We have pretty good players in our team (volleyball) like Rinku Singh and Yashasvi Jaiswal,” says Khaleel Ahmed, an Indian squad reserve, in reference to the volleyball encounter.

On June 24, Australia and India will play in the Super Eight.
With every successful volley, Kohli led by example and seemed genuinely excited, inspiring his team with lively celebrations. The youthful players like Rinku and Arshdeep had the same intensity as the former captain.
The Men in Blue have a rigorous schedule ahead of them, with matches against Afghanistan on June 20 in Barbados, Bangladesh on June 22 in Antigua, and the reigning champions Australia on June 24 in St Lucia. It looks like the team needs this respite.

Even though several of their great players are still developing, the Rohit Sharma-led team’s campaign has gained consistent momentum despite going undefeated in the group round. Still, the team’s confidence has grown as a result of its convincing victories against Pakistan, Ireland, and the USA.
