The leading batter for India, Suryakumar Yadav, stated that they prayed to Mahakal for their teammate Rishabh Pant to recover quickly from his injury.
Pant was involved in a car accident on December 30 and sustained a lot of critical injuries; despite this, he is making significant progress with his recuperation and is expected to make a full recovery.
