September 20, 2024, Jodhpur: The Legends League Cricket (LLC) Season 3 campaign of the India Capitals is scheduled to begin tomorrow at Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur. The team will take on Toyam Hyderabad, formerly known as Urbanrisers Hyderabad, the team that finished second in the previous season. Under the capable direction of their recently recruited captain, former English batting icon Ian Bell, the Capitals, who won the title in the first season of LLC, are keen to get off to a fast start.
Gautam Gambhir, who led the India Capitals to their first League of Cricket championship in 2022, has resigned to become the Indian Cricket Team’s coach, marking a significant shift in leadership. Ian Bell, who has over ten years of experience playing international cricket, will lead the side into Season 3 and is well-known for his elegant batting and remarkable cricketing intelligence.
The India Capitals have a formidable team that includes all-arounder Ashley Nurse, explosive batsman Dwayne Smith, and versatile player Colin de Grandhomme, who can alter the course of a match with a bat or a ball. Ben Dunk, the team’s explosive opener, is anticipated to give the Capitals quick beginnings.

Former Indian stars and seasoned players like Naman Ojha, Parwinder Awana, Barinder Saran, Dhawal Kulkarni, and Iqbal Abdullah bolster the group even more. They will all make major contributions with the bat and the ball.
Opponents of the India Capitals and runners-up from the previous campaign, Toyam Hyderabad, who are captained by former Indian all-rounder Suresh Raina, should provide a formidable challenge. Gurkeerat Singh, Isuru Udana, Nuwan Pradeep, Peter Trego, and George Worker are among the seasoned players on the Hyderabad team. They have all played in multiple T20 tournaments and could pose a threat to the Capitals.

Six teams will compete in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) in 2024: the Gujarat Giants, Toyam Hyderabad, Manipal Tigers, Southern Superstars, India Capitals, and the recently established Konark Suryas Odisha, who will take the place of the Bhilwara Kings. The three locations where the India Capitals will play their group stage matches are Jodhpur, Surat, and Jammu. The final is scheduled to take place at Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium on October 16, 2024.
