It would be difficult for the visitors to chase a target of 337 runs as the Chennai deck starts to favour the spinners heading into Day 3. For the India Women, Deepti Sharma contributed two wickets in addition to Rana.

“There was really little planning involved. Red-ball cricket is a long game, so there was no need to explore. In terms of my bowling, I’ve always focused on bowling via the appropriate channels and playing to my abilities. So I answered both the current and the prior test in the same way. After the victory, Rana had stated, “I didn’t experiment; I just stayed calm.”
