Indian cricketers Jitesh Sharma and Rinku Singh discussed how their combination against Australia in Raipur changed the game. They combined for an explosive 56 runs, full of boundaries and massive sixes, which helped India score a massive 174 runs in the first inning. Rinku Singh turned in a crucial performance, scoring 46 runs off 29 balls with four boundaries and two sixes, while Jitesh slammed 35 runs off 19 balls with three sixes and a four.
The Australian squad had a formidable challenge in their attempt to chase 175 runs, only scoring 154 for 7 in 20 overs because of the outstanding efforts of spin specialists Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi. India won by 20 runs, giving them a commanding 3-1 lead in the five-match Twenty20 International series. In a video that the BCCI released, the two batsmen discussed their crucial teamwork in the game.
Jitesh: This did not appear to be your debut series. You were all business as you picked which balls to hit, but I was under a lot of pressure to perform. How did you get ready?
Rinku: I’ve been playing for a while; I’ve spent five or six years in the Indian Premier League. I so support my decision to maintain my composure and have that confidence.
Jitesh: I want to thank him for helping me stay composed during our collaboration. I kept hearing him tell me to play nicely.
Rinku Singh: Certainly, we had to form a team and adjust our game to the circumstances.

India now has more T20I victories than Pakistan.
At the 4th Twenty20 International in Raipur, India defeated Australia to achieve a major breakthrough in international T20 cricket. With this victory, India became the most successful T20I team in the world, having won 136 matches in this format, an accomplishment that no other team has matched. India’s dominant performance in Raipur, when they won the series 3-1, was a historic occasion that confirmed their dominance in T20 cricket globally.
With 135 wins from 226 matches, Pakistan previously held the record for the most T20I victories. But India overtook them, taking first place in the 4th T20I after defeating Australia. New Zealand follows suit in third place with 102 victories from 200 games. Australia’s squad, with 95 victories in 181 games, is ranked fourth. Surprisingly, only three international sides have achieved 100 victories in Twenty20 internationals, demonstrating their strength in the shortest form of cricket.
