In the ICC T20I bowler rankings, Deepti Sharma and Titas Sadhu of India’s women’s bowling team have advanced significantly. On Tuesday, January 9, the rankings were updated, and both of the top bowlers saw the results of their labors as Deepti Sharma moved up four spots and Sadhu moved up fifty spots.
Due to her leap, Deepti Sharma is currently ranked second among bowlers in the ICC T20I rankings and has cemented her position as fourth among all-rounders.
With 723 rating points, Deepti Sharma surpassed Nonkululeko Mlaba of South Africa, who is in second place with 722 rating points.
Titas Sadhu shot up to the 92nd spot in the bowling rankings with 358 rating points, a massive 50-place jump. Following the players’ outstanding performances in the T20I series against Australia, there was a significant shift in the rankings.
In the batting rankings, Alyssa Healy of Australia returned to the top 10, while Smriti Mandhana of India regained her position as the top batswoman.

Speaking of the team’s on-field duties, the three T20I matches between the Australian and Indian ladies were quite the spectacle for the spectators. As the series headed to a series finale in Navi Mumbai, Australia won the second T20I and India the first.
On Tuesday, December 9, both teams squared up in the third Twenty20 International, with the hosts taking the field first after losing the toss. Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana, the opening batsmen for India, got things going with scores of 26 and 29, respectively.
India scored 147 runs in the first inning, with Richa Ghosh adding 34 more runs to the score. With the intention of chasing the target, the Australian women’s cricket team produced an outstanding display at the bat, leading to victories in both the game and the series by seven wickets thanks to half-centuries from Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney.
