The 23-year-old hitter added another record to his collection in this game, becoming the Indian player with the maximum number of runs in a one-day international series that consisted of three matches.

Gill finished the one-day international (ODI) series against New Zealand with 360 runs in three games, averaging 180 runs per game. He has achieved two hundreds in this competition, with his highest score being 208.

Gill’s score of 360 runs in a three-game One-Day International series against West Indies in 2016 is equal to that of Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, who also scored a century in each game of the series.
