In a county game, Washington Sundar’s legendary off-spinner setup dismissed the batter

During his first assignment with the English county of Lancashire, Washington Sundar is making quite an impression.

During his first season with the English county of Lancashire, Washington Sundar is making quite a name for himself and has so far put up great performances.

Sundar grabbed three wickets in Lancashire’s last and fourth innings of their Division 1 Championship match against Kent, enabling them to win by a margin of 184 runs. Throughout the inning, Sundar produced a flawless off-break to jar the batter’s stumps.

Jordon Cox of Kent had to go back after making only one run as Sundar’s ball struck a rough place on the wicket and spun dramatically.

When the ball spun sharply between both the bat and pad and hit the top of the off-stump, Sundar and the Lancashire players rejoiced. After defeating Kent captain Jack Leaning, Sundar took his second wicket of the innings.

Josh Bohannon’s 134-run effort helped Lancashire reach a 436/9d total in the second innings. Tom Bailey took five wickets as Lancashire eventually bowled Kent out for 127 in the final innings.

Sundar has participated in two games for Lancashire thus far, claiming eight wickets and amassing 52 runs.
