“I scored 200 a few weeks ago, I’m not in a slump” – David Warner on his Test form

Throughout the first two Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023, India dominated Australia. Australians suffered two crushing defeats at the hands of the hosts, who performed admirably. Due to an elbow injury he sustained in the second Test, Australia’s opener David Warner has been ruled out for the remainder of the series. Warner recently spoke on his future inclusion in the Australian squad, stating that he will accept his fate if he is no longer required for the Test squad.
Warner was cited by News18 as saying, “I’ve always said I’m playing till 2024; if the selectors believe that I’m not worthy of my spot, then so be it, and I can move on to the white-ball stuff; I scored 200 a couple of weeks ago, so I’m not in a rut.”
