famous Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq has lauded famous Indian batter KL Rahul as an exceptional leader. Praiseworthy of his Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain, Naveen said he was looking forward to another successful season and that he enjoyed playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Rahul.
Before India’s three-game Twenty20 International Series against Afghanistan, Naveen disclosed that KL Rahul always led from the front in the IPL and that he provides the players with the freedom to play and motivation. Furthermore, it seemed that he was amazed by Rahul’s exceptional leadership abilities and his very high standard of work ethic.
“Rahul is a fantastic leader. Last year, he captained my team. He sets the example by leading from the front. I am delighted to play under his captaincy once again. Playing under his direction was so much fun for me. He is a wonderful person. He offers the players freedom and inspiration. He has an incredible work ethic. In an interview with the Times of India, Naveen-ul-Haq said, “I am really happy, and it feels good to be part of the team he is leading.”
I can’t wait to play with the Lucknow Super Giants again next season. Naveen-ul-Haq
Prior to the IPL 2024, LSG has decided to hold onto Naveen-Ul-Haq. Following a successful season with the team in 2023, supporters will be watching the Afghan pacer’s exploits for the team in the next campaign. In the midst of fierce competition from other league teams, Haq is expecting to maintain the strong bowling performances he gave in the last IPL season.
“There are exciting days ahead. I am incredibly looking forward to playing with the Lucknow Super Giants again. I am looking forward to a wonderful IPL season. Naveen-Ul-Haq remarked, “I’m sure we have good competition.”
When it comes to LSG’s performance in the IPL 2023, the team advanced to the tournament’s knockout stages for the second time running. They were unable to advance, though, as the Mumbai Indians eliminated them in the play-offs. After 14 games and 17 points, the team came in third position during the group rounds. LSG will be hoping for a better showing in the 17th tournament edition after missing out on the summit battle the previous two years.
