Royal Challengers Bangalore’s chances of making the playoffs are in their own hands. If they beat the defending winners, the Gujarat Titans, they will move on to the next round. Before RCB’s big game against the league leaders, their star Kiwi all-rounder praised their captain Faf du Plessis batting and guidance.
Under Faf du Plessis direction, the Bangalore team is almost ready to make the playoffs for the second season in a row. The former South African captain, who came to the team from the Chennai Super Kings, hasn’t slowed down at all this year. In fact, he is the top scorer in this year’s tournament.
“Faf is a good boss. He is kind and thoughtful, and he knows how to bring out the best in the players. This year, he’s been amazing. He’s scored runs everywhere we’ve gone, which is amazing. At 38, he is a great athlete who keeps going. In the most recent show of RCB Bold Diaries, Bracewell said, “It’s great to watch.”
I try to share as much of what I know and have learned about the game as I can: Faf du Plessis
The RCB captain, who has been on fire with the bat in IPL 2023, talked about what he does for the well-known team. Faf said that the Proteas star, who bats at the top of the order, also tries to help the younger players in the team as the team’s boss.
“I have a dual job. As a batsman, I try to share as much of what I know and have learned about the game, especially the mental side of batting. As a young player, I thought I might not have known as much about that as I would have liked.
Then, as a captain, it’s clear that you have to be the father figure and help them through what are likely the early parts of their careers. Faf du Plessis said, “As a captain, it’s very important for the young guys to feel like they have real support, no matter who they are, what they’ve done, where they’re from, or how old they are.”
