Harsha Bhogle, a renowned pundit, has chosen the Indian team for the 2024 T20 World Cup. Bhogle has made his decision clear, despite the nation’s anxious anticipation of seeing the 15-person team that would compete against giants at the major event. The BCCI has not yet revealed the official Indian team for the upcoming World Cup, which is something to celebrate. On the other hand, it is said that the meeting for the same is set for April 27 in Delhi.
Returning to the voice of cricket’s World Cup squad, he has chosen to partner Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal as the openers. He inducted Virat Kohli, who came under heavy criticism for being included. For the second wicketkeeper batter position, he has, surprisingly, chosen Sanju Samson over KL Rahul. Shivam Dube, who has been making headlines with the Chennai Super Kings in the 2024 Indian Premier League, is also listed.

In the middle order with Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya is Rishabh Pant, who hasn’t played for a team abroad since his vehicle accident. Bhogle’s preference for Sandeep Sharma is one of his most notable decisions. Sandeep has been productive for the Rajasthan Royals and might be a perfect fit as a spinner against slow West Indies teams. Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj, and Jasprit Bumrah are the other pacers in the group. Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav are in charge of the spin section.
