July 10, 2023 – Rand Prairie, Texas. On Thursday, in front of a packed audience in North Texas, American cricket will experience a historic night. For the opening game of the inaugural Major League Cricket season, Grand Prairie Stadium, America’s new premier cricket venue, is now sold out. At 7:30 p.m., the hometown Texas Super Kings and the Los Angeles Knight Riders will square off. Both teams will be comprised of the best domestic talent and world-class cricket players.
The historic occasion will also include a wide range of entertainment and spectacle, such as an innings-break drone show showcasing the league’s six teams, an aerial aerobatic demonstration from a GB1 GameBird, and a post-game fireworks display to serve as the conclusion for Grand Prairie Stadium’s opening night.

The captain of the Texas Super Kings, Faf du Plessis, stated:

The historic American professional cricket championship, which runs from July 13 to July 30, will feature 11 additional matches at Grand Prairie Stadium in addition to the seven matches that will be played at Church Street Park in North Carolina.
