Gambhir talks about the talk around his friendship with Virat Kohli

Former Indian hitter Gautam Gambhir has made news for his exploits on numerous occasions. But following his on-field altercation with Royal Challengers Bengaluru hitter Virat Kohli during the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2023, the 42-year-old went viral.

The 17th edition of the tournament saw an end to their argument, as Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were spotted hugging and chatting on the field during a recent match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, debunking reports of a falling out between the two players.

Gambhir recently came forward to discuss the argument he had with Kohli, saying the public had lost interest in their relationship when they were spotted hugging and that they were just looking for attention.

“Virat Kohli made the appropriate comment. When we hugged, people’s masala vanished. They don’t know anything about our connection and are clueless. According to Gambhir, who the TOI cited, “They want attention and TRP from these things.”
