Gaddafi Stadium's refurbished dressing rooms was inaugurated by PCB chairman Najam Sethi.

The stadium will host nine PSL games in Lahore from February 26.
On February 25, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi inaugurated renovated dressing rooms at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Lahore Qalandars play Peshawar Zalmi on February 26, 2023, at their home stadium. The Gaddafi Stadium will host its maiden PSL match.

Sethi resolved the financial dispute with a Punjab government delegation at the stadium on Friday. The meeting failed because neither side budged.

The PCB and interim Punjab government are fighting over PSL security costs in Lahore and Rawalpindi. The board also set a February 25, 2023 deadline to decide on Punjab hosting PSL matches. If both parties can’t agree on Saturday, PCB may relocate Punjab’s league games to Karachi, Sindh, from February 28. This month, Punjab caretaker CM Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi rejected the PSL lighting proposal for Lahore. The PCB chief denied making the request to the Punjab government to Geo News.

After Karachi and Multan hosted the first 12 PSL games, Rawalpindi and Lahore will host the rest. On March 1, Peshawar Zalmi will play Karachi Kings in Rawalpindi.

Gaddafi Stadium will host nine of the remaining 20 PSL games, while Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11. Lahore will host the knockout games.
