From the 6th to the 23rd of December, the Lanka Premier League will be held

The Twenty20 League matches that were supposed to take place from August 1st through the 21st have been moved to a later date as a direct result of the ongoing economic crisis in the country.

According to the announcement made by the event’s organisers, the postponed Lanka Premier League (LPL) will now take place from December 6 to December 23. The Twenty20 League, which was supposed to be played between August 1 and 21, but had to be rescheduled due to the economic crisis that has been consuming the island nation, will now be played between September 1 and September 21. The promoters of the league, IPG, have also confirmed the news on their Twitter account. According to ESPNCricinfo, the tournament organiser for the LPL, Samantha Dodanwela, was reported as stating, “It is my pleasure to announce that the LPL will be held from the 6th to the 23rd of December.”

During the month of July, Sri Lanka was able to successfully host Australia for a month-long series despite the country’s ongoing economic crisis and political unrest.

The Asia Cup, which was scheduled to take place in the island nation from August 27 to September 11, has been shifted to the United Arab Emirates.

There has not yet been a decision made on the re-write.

According to the report, “it is understood that the tournament organisers are deciding between two options: either holding a fresh draught, or going ahead with as many of the available players as possible, with only the slots taken up by any unavailable foreign players being re-drafted.” “It is understood that the tournament organisers are deciding between two options: either holding a fresh draught, or going ahead with as many of the available players as possible with only the slots taken up by
