They went all in for Annabel Sutherland, spending a total of INR 2.5 crore. To acquire Sutherland at the auction, the Capitals had to pay INR 2 crore. To conclude the auction process, they paid INR 10 lakh for Aparna Mondal and Ashwani Kumari at their base price.

With a purse worth of only INR 2.1 crore, MI also held a silent auction. They battled valiantly to acquire Sutherland from the Capitals, but were unable to add her to their team. But for INR 1.2 crore, MI was able to acquire pacer Shabnim Ismail’s experience. S Sajana cost ₹15 lakh, while Amandeep Kaur, Fatima Jaffer, and Keerthana Balakrishnan were purchased for ₹10 lakh apiece.
