On Sunday, November 12, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, India will play the Netherlands IND vs NED in the 45th match of the ODI World Cup 2023. That will be the final game in the tournament’s group stage. The Netherlands has only won two of the eight games they have played so far, while India has won all eight.
India won handily in their most recent game against South Africa. In 50 overs, they put up a formidable 326 runs at the expense of five wickets, demonstrating their outstanding performance. With his 49th ODI century, Virat Kohli demonstrated his skill. With 77 runs from 87 deliveries, Shreyas Iyer also made a big contribution.
India’s bowling and fielding were excellent when South Africa started their innings. The Proteas were only outscored by them by 83 runs. With none of their batsmen able to score more than 20 runs, India won handily by a huge margin of 243 runs.
In their previous match, the Netherlands played England, who amassed 339 runs in 50 overs at a cost of nine wickets. With 108 runs from just 84 deliveries, Ben Stokes achieved his first-ever ODI World Cup century. Bas de Leede stood out among the bowlers for the Netherlands, capturing three wickets for 74 runs in his ten overs. Two wickets apiece from Aryan Dutt and Logan van Beek were added, and Paul van Meekeren took the final wicket.
The Netherlands had a difficult beginning to their chase, losing four wickets prior to reaching the 100-run milestone. They eventually reached that mark in the 26th over, but Bas de Leede was removed from the game. Teja Nidamanuru and Scott Edwards put on 59 runs for the sixth wicket, but after Edwards was out, the remainder of their side was unable to muster much of an innings. England won by 160 runs after they were bowled out for a total of 179 runs.
