Enjoy Shaheen Shah Afridi and Rishabh Pant’s hilarious conversation, in which Afridi says, “Want to hit…”

Shaheen Afridi made sure he didn’t miss the opportunity to meet his Indian opponents, despite the fact that he won’t be able to participate in the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates.

The match between India and Pakistan is scheduled to take place at the Dubai International Stadium on August 28. Both teams are now getting ready for the high-stakes encounter, which will be the first time they have competed against one another since the Twenty20 World Cup that took place a year ago.

While Jasprit Bumrah of India is expected to sit out the entirety of the competition, Pakistan has also been dealt a significant setback prior to the beginning of their Asia Cup campaign. Ace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will not be participating in the continental competition for Pakistan.

Shaheen made it a point to meet his Indian opponents before his team’s match even though he won’t be able to participate in the Asia Cup that is being held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Late in the day on Thursday, the Pakistan Cricket Board shared on social media a video in which Shaheen could be seen interacting with a number of Indian cricketers, including Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal, Rishabh Pant, and KL Rahul.

The encounter that he had with the Indian wicketkeeper turned out to be a really comical one.

Shaheen made an amusing remark to Pant during their conversation, telling him that he aspires to bat like the Indian southpaw and knock one-handed sixes like he does.

“Yaar main soch raha hu aapki tarah bas batting shuru kar du, ek haath se chhakke lagaau (I’m thinking to start batting like you, hit one-handed sixes),” stated Shaheen Afridi.

The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed on Friday that their fast bowler Mohammad Wasim would not be participating in the Twenty20 Asia Cup owing to a left side strain. This news came just before Pakistan’s match against India, which was another setback for the Pakistan team.
