Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Punjab Kings in the dramatic IPL 2025 final, ending an 18-season wait to win their first title. Following the historic victory, star batter Virat Kohli’s humorous encounter with RCB Insider Mr. Nags (played by actor and influencer Danish Sait) went viral. The 36-year-old was observed having fun while attempting to end his romance with Nags.
Mr. Nags has been a member of RCB’s content team since 2015 and has produced amusing interviews and interactions with players. However, his bond with Kohli has always been the most cherished. Their portions have routinely gone viral, combining trolling with having a good time.
However, in a video posted on social media following the team’s first title win, Mr Nags was seen participating in the celebration on the pitch and chatting with players. During the same process, he pulled the star batter away for a quick conversation regarding his playing future and the two’s friendship.
“Come on, enough already. No more joking. I believe this marks the end. That’s what I am saying. Do you want me to finish? Yeah? “Your presence here adds nothing to the viewership,” Virat remarked.
Mr Nags gets a little emotional, but carries his humour along, as he gatecrashes into the field of play, after last night’s incredible win. 😂#PlayBold #ನಮ್ಮRCB #IPL2025 #RCBvPBKS pic.twitter.com/jNYzeOPzlg

Virat Kohli, who led RCB with 43 points in the final, was emotional following the historic victory.
He praised the fans for their continued support over the years. He also stated that the bowlers had won the event.
“You know, I was emotional when Hazelwood bowled the second ball, which did not go for six. I was utterly gone. But I have, I was, and it is quite tough for me to pull myself together. But, you know what? Everyone in the event, including these boys, was really motivated. They wanted to win for RCB, the franchise, and the management. And they all continued saying, “We want to place the trophy in your hands.” And it would not have been possible without the incredible team of players. They’ve been so motivated. Match winners throughout. Everyone stepped up at different points throughout the season. It was truly a dream year. “Absolutely perfect,” Kohli concluded.
