On Sunday, April 13, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by a commanding nine wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, where Virat Kohli recorded his 100th T20 half-century.
In the afternoon match, RCB easily defeated a target of 174 runs, and the legendary batter stayed undefeated with 62 off 45 balls. In 39 balls, he reached his third fifty of the season. After David Warner, he was the only hitter to reach 100 half-centuries in the shortest format. Additionally, Kohli tied Warner’s record of the most IPL fifties (66).
In his 366th innings, Warner achieved the milestone of 100 T20 half-centuries. In the meantime, Kohli’s 388th innings has brought him to the milestone. Warner, who is playing in the Pakistan Super League right now, has 399 innings and 108 T20 fifties.

The RCB is back to winning ways.
Following Rajat Patidar’s decision to bowl first on Sunday, the RCB bowlers took advantage of the sluggish and low conditions to prevent the Rajasthani batsmen from going hammer and tongs during their innings. The first champions’ best scorer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, hit 75 off 47 balls with 10 fours and two sixes. The best bowler for the RCB was Krunal Pandya, who took out Sanju Samson while giving up just 29 runs in his four overs.
RCB responded by establishing a dominant position with to Phil Salt’s scorching 65 off 33 deliveries. Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal (40*) led the visitors to victory with nine wickets and 15 balls remaining after the England wicketkeeper-batter was removed.
