WWE’s Big Show has captivated wrestling fans around the United States of America (USA) and the world with his commanding presence in the ring. However, Glenn Maxwell, cricket’s Big Show, made his presence felt at
The famous Oakland stadium when he hammered his first century in Major League Cricket (MLC).
Maxwell, who was playing for the Washington Freedom, destroyed the Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR) bowling, smashing 106* in just 49 deliveries after entering to bat in a difficult scenario for his team. Maxwell rescued his team from 68/4 in 7.2 overs, taking them to 208/5 at the end of the first innings with 13 sixes and two fours. Maxwell scored his seventh T20 century overall.

Mitch Owen (32 off 11) was the Freedom’s only other batter to score more than 30 runs.
Meanwhile, LAKR struggled with the bat in response, as Australian pace bowling all-rounders Jack Edwards (3/15) and Owens (3/18) took three wickets each to dismiss the entire squad for 95. Despite having powerhouse batters like Alex Hales, Andre Russell, and Rovman Powell, no one was able to replicate Maxwell’s performance in the second innings, and LAKR lost by 113 runs.
After this win, Washington has two wins in three games and is in third place. Meanwhile, LAKR has lost all three games and currently ranks fifth in the six-team league.
