The captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Pat Cummins, made a touching gesture and a humorous moment with his Australian teammate Mitchell Marsh. It happened following SRH’s most recent game against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Pat Cummins can be seen boarding the squad bus with a banner of Marsh in the released video.
Holding the banner, Cummins said “My Man” with a broad smile. Together with the fans, this turned into a humorous scene.
Since the Sunrisers Hyderabad posted the video to their official ‘X’ feed, it has been receiving a lot of attention. At the same time, SRH and LSG have both been formally removed from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. It is noteworthy that SRH was eliminated earlier in the campaign, and the Lucknow-based team was also removed from the league after defeating LSG.
No Mitch Marsh was harmed in this video 😂

SRH and LSG aim to finish on a high, DC push for final IPL 2025 playoffs spot
There are two games remaining in Sunrisers Hyderabad’s campaign. On May 23, they will play the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. This will be followed by their season-ending game against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Likewise, on May 22, LSG will play Gujarat Titans (GT) at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, and on May 27, they will play RCB at home.
Three teams—Gujarat Titans (GT), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and Punjab Kings (PBKS)—have already guaranteed their spots in the IPL 2025 playoffs. The Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Mumbai Indians (MI) are vying for the fourth and final position. On May 21, the two teams will play each other in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. If MI wins, they will qualify for the playoffs; DC needs to win both of their remaining games against MI and PBKS to maintain their aspirations.
