The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will resume play on May 17 following a one-week break, and some of the clubs have already begun training for their final league games. Mumbai Indians (MI) is one of the teams that has resumed training.
Currently ranked fourth in the standings, the Hardik Pandya-led team has played 12 games and won seven of them while losing five. The squad is working hard throughout training, as evidenced by the most recent IPL video posted on social media. The video shows some of the best MI players working hard and practicing at Wankhede Stadium.
The star Kiwi player Mitchell Santner displayed his revolutions when throwing the ball, and there were snippets of Rohit Sharma and Tilak Varma batting in the nets. The final two games are critical, and the participants appear prepared to fight for the sixth title. In addition, Ashwani Kumar, Robin Minz, and Satyanarayan Raju are among the other prominent players in the video.

The Mumbai Indians’ final two games
The MI team’s first game following the restart will be on May 21 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium against the Delhi Capitals (DC). The two clubs’ most recent meeting took place at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 13. MI had won the thrilling final over by a score of 12 runs.
On May 26, the last league match will take place at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium against the Punjab Kings (PBKS). Since Dharamsala and Mohali have been ruled out due to border concerns, this is the official new base for the Punjab franchise. This season, this will be the first meeting between the two franchises.
