For the 2023–24 domestic season, Indian batter Dhruv Shorey is scheduled to relocate from Delhi to Vidarbha. In 52 first-class games during the course of 42 games for Delhi, Shorey scored 3841 runs at an average of 54.87, including 11 hundreds.
Additionally, Shorey’s cricket performance in List A speaks volumes. Shorey has a total of 1945 runs, averaging 36.01 runs per game in 60 List A games. In 2018 and 2019, the 31-year-old played for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He did, however, only appear in two games.
Dhruv Shorey recently requested that the Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) provide him a No Objection Certificate (NOC) so that he might play abroad, just as the team’s standout hitter Nitish Rana.
I want to say how very grateful I am. Dhruv Shorey
To announce his relocation to Vidarbha, Shorey posted on Instagram. He thanked the DDCA in a passionate letter for giving him all the opportunities he had ever needed in his professional life. In addition, he said he was looking forward to going on the voyage with Vidabha.
“I want to say how grateful I am for the amazing experience I’ve had working with the DDCA throughout the years. In preparation for my transition to the new opportunities, I would want to take this opportunity to convey my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the DDCA for providing me with the chance to lead and develop, Shorey said on Instagram.
“I’d like to express my gratitude to my coaches, the playing group, the captains, the senior players, and the teammates I’ve had the pleasure of playing alongside and learning from. I want to express my gratitude to Mr. Rohan Jaitley for all of his assistance throughout this trip,” he continued.
