Deepak Chahar, who was left off of India’s playing roster for the second ODI against Zimbabwe, keeps the crowd entertained anyhow

Deepak Chahar is one of the players whose performance will likely be heavily scrutinised as the Twenty20 World Cup gets underway in approximately two months.

Deepak Chahar, who had taken three wickets in the first one-day international match against Zimbabwe, was not selected to play for the Indian cricket squad in the second one-day international match. Because of his ability to swing the ball, Chahar is one of the players whose performance will be closely monitored during the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup due to the fact that the tournament will begin in two months.

He has recently made a full recovery from his injuries, and he is looking forward to putting in a strong performance in the coming times. “It is essential for any player, whenever they make a comeback, to score runs as well as take wickets. Due to the fact that I had been sidelined with an injury for close to half a year, I was hoping for a chance to return to the stage “After the first one-day international, Chahar stated.

“After I was going to be competing in this series for the first time since my retirement, I made sure to participate in all of the practise matches and bowl for more than six overs. On the day that I began bowling, my very first session consisted of bowling six overs.”

Although Chahar did not play in the second one-day international, he did talk to fans when he was on the sidelines.

On Saturday, India’s bowler Shardul Thakur took three wickets as the team’s opponents, Zimbabwe, were bowled out for 161 runs in the second one-day international. Thakur, who entered the game in place of Chahar and concluded with figures of three wickets and 38 runs allowed against him in seven overs, was India’s best bowler. Every one of the other Indian bowlers took a wicket in the match.

With a run-and-ball total of 42 points, Sean Williams led the home team in scoring. Ryan Burl also contributed with a 39, which he did not lose to anyone. India now holds a 1-0 advantage in the three-game series.
