Due to its 100 balls per side concept, the Hundred League has attracted a lot of attention. With only five balls available to them every over, the bowlers are out of favour and the batting has become more ferocious. However, big batter Tom Kohler Cadmore was kept from making any runs in ten straight deliveries by London Spirit pacer Daniel Worrall, who has made bowling appear incredibly possible.
Daniel Worrall welcomed Kohler-Cadmore with swing and movement as the hitter struggled to middle the balls as he opened the innings for Welsh Fire against Spirit on August 1. The dot balls stacked up as soon as he connected since he was unable to detect any holes. The batter made sure Worrall could not feast on his problems as he fell to Olly Stone, scoring four runs on 13 deliveries. The pacer, arriving from the opposite end, dished Kohler-Cadmore the same meal.
Here’s the video of Daniel Worrall’s spell to Kohler-Cadmore:

We lost the first two games, therefore this was a huge game for us: Dawson
In reference to the match, Welsh Fire was only able to muster 94 runs in 100 balls after London Spirit chose to bowl first after winning the toss. Spriit sensed an easy chase when Liam Dawson and Daniel Lawrence sparkled with three wickets apiece. However, Matt Henry picked off the initial three batters for Welsh Fire, forcing them back into the contest. With 13 balls left and three wickets in hand, Spirit pursued the mark after Shimron Hetmyer’s undefeated 30 and Lawrence’s 29.

After losing the previous two (matches), tonight’s game was crucial for us, and it gives us a great deal of confidence to cross the finish line. began well and presented a good pitch for bowling. The wicket did the rest; all you had to do was bowl in the correct spots. Eventually got tight, but the boys will move forward with confidence. You just needed to hit the stumps, so it was a little faster. When playing on such wickets, you have to keep things simple. Just wanted to do that today,” Dawson remarked following the match.
