Kirti Azad is anticipated to overcome BJP heavyweight Dilip Ghosh.
Based on preliminary data, it appears that BJP candidate Dilip Ghosh is unlikely to lose to former Indian cricket player Kirti Azad in the Bardhaman-Durgapur constituency. The TMC candidate received over 7 lakh votes, while Ghosh received slightly over 5.6 lakh, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI).
Before the Goa Legislative Elections in November 2021, he served as a representative for the Indian National Congress (IMC), but he later joined the TMC.
