Tickets for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 are now on sale, beginning December 11. This captures the start of fan preparations for one of cricket’s most important worldwide events. The ICC has kept ticket prices at historically low levels, making the competition more accessible to everybody. Ticket prices in India start at INR 100, whereas in Sri Lanka they start at LKR 1,000. Notably, more than 2 million tickets were distributed in Phase 1 for group stage and Super Eight matches.
The tournament will be held from February 7 to March 8, 2026, in eight key locations in India and Sri Lanka. The first encounter will be between Pakistan and the Netherlands in Colombo, followed by fixtures in Kolkata and Mumbai. India captain Suryakumar Yadav and South Africa’s Aiden Markram launched tickets during the second T20I in their ongoing series. Supporters may now reserve tickets and organise their match-day experiences ahead of time.
Ticket prices for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 are designed to be affordable for all fans. In India, prices start at INR 100 for selected venues like Kolkataand Ahmedabad. Chennai begins at INR 300, Delhi at INR 150, and Mumbai at INR 250. In Sri Lanka, tickets start at LKR 1000 across Colombo and Kandy.
These prices apply to Phase 1 sales, covering group-stage and Super Eight matches. High-demand games like India-Pakistan also have surprisingly low starting prices due to the ICC’s strategy to improve in-stadium turnout. Phase 2 pricing and category-wise details will be announced later. However, due to high demand for India matches, the starting price can be on the higher end. So far on the BookMyShow portal, ICC has released tickets for the India vs Netherlands tickets, scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad, whose starting price is INR 500 and goes up to INR 2000.
As stated earlier, the ticket prices for the tournament will differ from location to location. However, the general starting range for prices is between INR 100 and INR 300 and is fixed in Sri Lanka at LKR 1000.

Major teams include India, Pakistan, Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and emerging teams like the USA, Italy, Oman, Nepal, and UAE. Fans can purchase tickets only through official ticketing partners. The ICC has appointed BookMyShow as the primary ticketing platform.
Tickets are available on BookMyShow and the ICC’s official ticketing portal, tickets.cricketworldcup.com. These platforms will handle all match categories, payment options, queue management, and seat selection. No third-party or offline resellers are authorized for the early phases.
Booking T20 World Cup 2026 tickets is simple and convenient. Online booking is available through BookMyShow and the ICC’s official website, where fans can select matches, venues, seats, and pay instantly. For high-demand matches, fans may be placed in a digital queue. Offline tickets may be available closer to the tournament through stadium ticket counters, depending on arrangements by BCCI and Sri Lanka Cricket.
Fans should carry ID proof for verification. Offline availability will mainly apply to group-stage games. However, online booking is recommended as it provides faster access, instant confirmation, and a safer purchasing process.
