Cricket Ireland and Italian sportswear behemoth Macron, the recently announced new technical kit supplier for the national governing body, have unveiled new One-Day International and Twenty20 International playing kit designs for men and women.
The designs feature a variety of Irish colors and symbols, and the shirts are made from high-quality materials that provide the technical features essential for the athletes’ optimal comfort and performance on the field.
The ‘100 cricket ball’ motif on the sleeve edges is a small but significant addition to the design, representing the complete honor that each cricketer who dons the jersey has in representing his country.
T20 International uniform
The T20 International kit jersey features a graphic composed of geometric figures in three hues of green and a Celtic knot sublimated print design. The polo collar with a three-button closure, sleeve margins, and side and shoulder details are all navy blue. The sleeve embellishment is a motif of a cricket ball. The Macron Hero is printed in white on the right side of the chest, while the Cricket Ireland insignia is printed with a satin embroidery effect on the left side, where the heart would be.
One-Day International sports equipment
The kit garment for One-Day Internationals is predominantly dark green, with a navy blue polo collar and sleeve edges. Details on the sides and shoulders are gold, as are the Macron Hero and the Cricket Ireland logo, both embroidered with satin. This kit’s identifying motif is a vertical, tone-on-tone band running down the front left side, within which the Celtic knot pattern reappears in a recurring and intertwined fashion. The motif of a cricket ball is utilized on the sleeve accent.

In a victory for Irish cricket enthusiasts, Macron’s online retail division will begin selling all adult and junior sizes of the new jerseys today. This will be followed in the coming weeks by additional Cricket Ireland-branded playing and recreational products, all of which will be available for purchase online and at all home matches.
