Cricket Ireland and the International Cricket Council (ICC) have joined forces to broadcast over 50 domestic Irish matches for free on ICC.tv, including the entirety of the men’s Inter-Provincial Series and women’s Super Series.
The ICC’s OTT streaming platform, ICC.tv, is accessible for free on the web, iOS, and Android. In addition to live cricket from around the globe, there are also archives and other programming. Fans can create a free account by visiting www.icc.tv and logging in.
THE COMPETITIONS
In Ireland, the Inter-Provincial Series is the premier domestic men’s cricket league. The competition, which began in 2013, features the Leinster Lightning, Northern Knights, North West Warriors, and Munster Reds competing for:
• Interprovincial Cup (50-over contests);
• The Interprovincial Trophy (twenty-20 matches)
The Super Series is Ireland premier domestic women’s cricket competition. Inaugurated in 2015, it is a competition between the Scorchers, the Dragons, and the Typhoons for:
• Super 50 Cup (50-over games)
• The Super 20 Trophy (Twenty-Twenty matches)
The 2023 Super Series schedule is available here, while the 2023 Interprovincial Series schedule will be released momentarily. The first match to be broadcast will be Scorchers vs. Dragons in the Super Series on 1 May 2023 from Malahide.
Countries that are available
Every country except India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Maldives, Afghanistan, and Pakistan will have access to ICC.tv. Fans in these excluded nations can instead view the matches via FanCode.
