Congratulations to Kieron Pollard on his 600th T20 appearance from Jasprit Bumrah!

During the ongoing The Hundred tournament, London Spirit’s match against Manchester Originals marked Kieron Pollard’s 600th T20 appearance.

On Tuesday, Jasprit Bumrah congratulated Kieron Pollard on his 600th T20 performance, a remarkable achievement for the Jamaican opener. Cricket legend Kieron Pollard made history on Monday by becoming the first player to play 600 Twenty20 matches. “There are 600 games in total! How exciting! Pollard and Bumrah have both played for the Mumbai Indians, a five-time IPL champion, throughout their time as leading players. During London Spirit’s match versus Manchester Originals in the ongoing The Hundred competition at Lord’s, the hard-hitting batsman reached the milestone of 600 T20 appearances.

Pollard went all out to make sure the event was one to remember. An undefeated 34 runs from just 11 balls with one four and four huge sixes.

Pollard’s Twenty20 stats are outstanding. He has a batting average of 31.34 with 11,723 runs in 600 games. He is the best player out of 104. A century and 56 half-centuries are part of Pollard’s batting resume in this format. As a bowler, his best bowling stats are 4/15, with 309 wickets to his name.

Pollard has played for a variety of T20 franchises over the years, including the West Indies, the national team of Trinidad and Tobago, the Mumbai Indians of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Adelaide Strikers and the Melbourne Renegades of the Big Bash League, the Dhaka Gladiators and the Dhaka Dynamites of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and Peshawar Zalmi of the Pakistan Super League,

Dwayne Bravo (543 games), Shoaib Malik (472), Chris Gayle (463) and Ravi Bopara (463 matches) follow in his footsteps (426).

Pollard’s onslaught drove his team to 160/6 in 100 balls before the match. Captain Eoin Morgan (37) and starter Zak Crawley (37) also had a hand in the victory (41). Only 108 runs were scored by the Manchester Originals before they ran out of hitters. There were 36 runs from Phil Salt and 4/21 from Jordan Thompson for the London Spirit. The London Spirit racked up a thumping total of 52 runs in victory.
