Star of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” Charlie Vickers, has expressed his appreciation for Indian cricket player Virat Kohli. In a similar spirit, the well-known actor revealed how he nearly crossed paths with the legendary modern cricket player.
Vickers, best known for his part in the hit Amazon Prime series, acknowledged that he was a huge admirer of Kohli in addition to the Australian cricket squad. Vickers has a fan-boy moment while in Auckland. The well-known actor recalled seeing Kohli at the hotel where he was staying when speaking of his trip to New Zealand. Though he appeared to be starstruck, the actor characterised the encounter as bizarre.
The actor told News18, “I will say him because of that encounter.” But when people questioned him if he was able to say hello to the Indian sports legend? Vickers said, “No, I was too anxious.”
