India Champions defeated Pakistan Champions by five wickets to win the World Championship of Legends final. Six teams competed in the tournament’s first edition, with India emerging victorious. After losing Ambati Rayudu and Gurkeerat Singh Mann, India was under pressure to chase a target of 157 in the final game. With Yusuf Pathan scoring a rapid thirty runs in just sixteen balls, India won the match in the twentieth over.
Another team member, Irfan Pathan, completed the formalities by lifting his brother Yusuf and hitting a boundary off the opening ball of the 20th over. The brothers got into a fight during the match versus South Africa Champions because of a misunderstanding that led to Irfan’s run-out being lost. In the semifinal match against Australia, they both scored half-centuries with game-winning knocks. Following the victory, the sibling gave each other a heartfelt hug, and a video of Irfan hoisting Yusuf went viral.

Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan helped win the crown a second time.
This was the second championship in which the brothers shared the same team. They competed for Team India, which made history in 2007 by winning the inaugural T20 World Cup. Against Pakistan in the final, Irfan was the player of the match. However, Yusuf replaced the injured Virender Sehwag in the opening game of the season and proceeded straight to the finals.
