The International Cricket Council, or ICC, is said to have proposed some rule changes for the umpire’s review of a stumping at the start of the new year. The rule will no longer evaluate the caught-behind scenario and will solely concentrate on side-on replays, as players have been abusing it for a while.
After the new regulation was put into effect, a stumping allowed the team to escape without utilizing a review for those caught behind. However, this will no longer be an option.
