One of the deadliest bowlers in history to have ever graced the game is Brett Lee.
The most sought-after bowler of his era, the Australia is manned with their best pacer, Glenn McGrath. He missed it by 0.2 kmph, but he recorded the second-fastest delivery after Pakistan’s Shoaib Akhtar. In ODIs, 310 Test wickets, and 28 T20I wickets, the former pacer has claimed 380 wickets.
In an exclusive interview with CricTracker, the 47-year-old shared his fitness motto in relation to the current World Championship of Legends 2024 competition. Being one of the few players of his generation to have participated in the IPL, he still has a connection to the competition as a broadcaster. He claimed that the two months he spent in India during the lucrative league had given him the chance to retrain and arrive to the games in top form.
“I believe that retiring cricket players strive to be their best selves and put a lot of effort into staying healthy. Being a pilot is difficult for me personally to run in. You have to be extremely fit, but it’s also important to have the time. I was able to train throughout the IPL, spending two and a half months in India. I also wanted to make sure I was well-rested for the World Cup 2024, which Lee disclosed exclusively.

Australia, Pakistan make it to playoffs of WCL 2024
The World Championship of Legends is a T20 tournament played between the six teams — India Champions, Australia Champions, England Champions, Pakistan Champions, South Africa Champions, and West Indies Champions.
Australia and Pakistan have made it to the playoffs in the 2024 season, while the other teams are fighting fiercely to get into the postseason. There will be eighteen games in all, including the knockout stages, as the league searches for its first champion.
