In the present Indian Premier League (IPL), Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals engaged in an exciting match. On Thursday, May 2, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, both teams squared off in the tournament’s 50th game. Sunrisers Hyderabad, who batted first, scored 201 runs in the first half of the match.
With the intention of pursuing the objective, the Royals nearly secured victory. But Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the veteran bowler, saved the day in Hyderabad by pulling off a stunning comeback.
Kumar, who was bowling against Rovman Powell, had to stop two runs on the game’s last delivery. But the veteran’s spectacular delivery saw Powell sent back to the pavilion as SRH prevailed by a run. Bhuvneshwar Kumar spoke up about his thinking during the last over after the game.

That’s just the way I am. Once more, though, the method is crucial. I wasn’t thinking too much, even in the final. About the last over, there was no conversation. All that was on our minds was the procedure. I have no regard for the outcome. It was all about concentrating on the specific delivery. According to India Today, Kumar stated, “Anything could have happened in the last over with two good balls.”
I lacked consideration. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
The 34-year-old stated that he wasn’t thinking. He disclosed that he was not considering the location of the fielder or the hitter’s projected hit. Powell missed the entire toss, so he was able to capitalise on his concentration on the delivery.
“My actions were careless. I understand; the last ball was a complete toss. However, Powell missed it, and you are aware of the consequences. I was not at all concerned with where the batter might hit me or where the fielder was. I was totally focused on carrying out the delivery,” remarked Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
