Recently, former Pakistani cricketer Basit Ali spoke forward and praised Jasprit Bumrah, a talented pacer from India. He emphasised Bumrah’s distinct bowling motion and versatility on any surface. According to Ali, Bumrah has gained notoriety from all around the world as a result of his performances over the years.
While acknowledging that Bumrah’s bowling motion was uncomfortable, Basit Ali also credited it as a major contributor to his success. He described Bumrah as a deceitful bowler and disclosed that even if one plays him on a cement pitch.
“Bumrah can fool the batters with his ungainly motion, even on a cement pitch. That is the actuality. That’s why I refer to him as Boom Boom. Not the other bowlers, that is. Their form and rhythm are what the others rely on. He enters, takes a wicket, and in his subsequent over, he picks three. Although his slower one is accurate, he is highly dishonest. In the Test format, he typically chooses wickets on the deliveries you bowl in white-ball cricket.
On his YouTube channel, Basit Ali stated, “It’s unique.
It’s important to remember that Jasprit Bumrah will be playing for the Indian side again in the next two Test matches against Bangladesh. The first Test will take place in Chennai starting on September 19.
