Those in charge At the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Pakistan (PAK) hosted Bangladesh (BAN) as their maiden Test match. Urged to bat first, Pakistan amassed 448 runs and declared with four wickets remaining. Mushfiqur Rahim’s 191 off 341 helped Bangladesh defeat respond suitably, amassing 565 runs. In addition, the visitors jumped out to a 117-run lead.
With the game seemingly heading towards a draw, Pakistan was behind and had lost Saim Ayub at the end of the fourth day. Saim Ayub (56), and Saud Shakeel (141) were the only hitters to score more than 40 runs, aside from Mohammad Rizwan, who shone in the opening session. Additionally, in the second innings, Abdullah Shafique scored the second-highest 37 runs, behind the wicketkeeper batter’s 56 runs.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz caused mayhem for Bangladesh defeat with his four-fer, while Shakib Al Hasan, the former captain, added a three-fer.
Day 5 of the Rawalpindi Test saw the Bangla Tigers win with just 30 runs needed to bundle out the hosts for 146 runs in 56 overs. With all the time in the world, openers Shadman Islam and Zakir Hasan may have scored fewer than thirty runs.
They scored eight runs to win the game as they crossed the 22-run mark in just five overs during the second session. Because there were few bowling alternatives and a noticeable lack of shoulder strength, Shan Masood stayed with Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Agha Salman.

I remember watching the 2003 Pakistan vs Bangladesh game in multan as a kid on TV, when Inzamam won it for Pakistan, I had never thought that I will ever see Pakistan loosing to Bangladesh in a test match, but guess what I was wrong. I won’t be surprised if we end up loosing this… pic.twitter.com/TTx8Bm21uX
