A devoted Bangladeshi cricket fan named “Tiger Robi” was reportedly hospitalized during the first day of the second Test match between India and Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur due to an alleged attack with local spectators.
But a mob of Indian supporters mistreated him badly in Kanpur. He claimed that the throng shoved him and took the flag of his nation out of his grasp.
Tiger Robi’s unique leopard-print clothing and the Bangladeshi flag he wears on his chest make him immediately recognizable.
In a video, the distraught fan is shown sitting there unknowingly while being surrounded by onlookers and law enforcement personnel. He was taken by authorities to a neighboring hospital so that he might receive treatment.
