Once the ODI series was won, the visiting On Thursday, November 14, Pakistan took on Australia in the opening Twenty20 International at The Gabba in Brisbane. Heavy showers and lightning caused a delay in the toss. Hopes of having any game were further dashed as the downpour stopped and the black clouds hovered overhead. All the while, Glenn Maxwell was doing the heavy lifting, scoring 43 off only 19 balls, including three maximums and five boundaries. By the time he was dismissed, the hosts had reached 66/3 in just 5.3 overs.
