Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan, and Shreyas Iyer all made legal catches to grant Nepal’s openers reprieves.
Notably, India’s catching efficiency rate—at 75.1%—is the second-lowest since the World Cup 2019. Only Afghanistan, with a rate of 71.2%, has a better rate. With the Asia Cup 2023 just one month away, the Rohit Sharma-led team needs to drastically improve their fielding.
