After cruising to victories in the first two games of the Test series against South Africa, Australia has jumped out to an unassailable 2-0 lead and can now consider the series won.
After having their third day of the third and final test washed out by rain, the team captained by Pat Cummins declared their innings on the fourth day of the match with a score of 475/4.
Usman Khawaja, who was opening the batting, suffered a significant setback as a result of the decision because he was unable to achieve his first hundred and win the game.
The fact that Khawaja was left stranded on 195 does not sit well with the supporters, as seen by the fact that many have taken to social media to vent their dissatisfaction with the matter.

In the fifth and final match of the series, which took place in Sydney, Australia made a rollicking start to their pursuit of 20 South African wickets to complete a clean sweep of the series.
Following yet another delay in play caused by rain during the morning session, the captain of the opposing team, Pat Cummins, declared his team’s first innings to be over after noon with a score of 475-4 in order to go for the win against the helpless Proteas.
The graceful opener Usman Khawaja was left stranded on 195 not out when Cummins made the decision to declare the innings over. This prevented Khawaja from having the opportunity to complete his first Test double century.
