The renowned all-rounder Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff of England has now opened up about the terrible Top Gear incident that had a big impact on his life. In a teaser for his next BBC cricket show, ‘Field of Dreams’, Flintoff talked about the moment that almost brought the show to an abrupt end and permanently altered his life.
Flintoff was involved in a terrible accident in December 2022 while filming Top Gear at Surrey’s Dunsfold Park Aerodrome. He needed months to heal from the severe facial injuries he sustained in the collision. Later on, the BBC reportedly offered Flintoff a settlement of almost nine million euros in exchange for an apology.
The upcoming season of “Field of Dreams,” which premieres next month, follows Flintoff as he leads a group of Preston, Pennsylvania, natives who are not players on a tour of India. Flintoff talks about the mishap in the caravan.
However, something occurred that permanently altered my life. All of us, myself included, will discover something new about ourselves, he declared.
